The engineering team has a flat management structure. The teams are organized by-products. Technical decisions are made as a team taking in the feedback and thought process of the engineers. Team members are free to move between different teams based on the feedback of their team members and the status of their project.

About the job

We are looking for a Head of Security Compliance to join our growing Technology team to build and lead out a team of security compliance specialists to support our internal security compliance program. Focusing on establishing a security compliance culture and program this role will be responsible for ensuring that Paack complies with its own internal policies and standards as well as ensuring conformance to industry standards such as ISO 27000 and the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Star Programme. 

Main duties:

• Build and lead a team of security compliance professionals with a strong technology focus and with a focus on cloud technologies
• Define company policies that provide the framework for the implementation of best practices with respect to security by design and by default in terms of digital technology
• Provide a governance framework for reporting on security compliance and internal security controls
• Provide an internal consulting capability centered on controls design, implementation, and review

What are we looking for?

If you’re a leader in the emerging area of Data Protection and Privacy seeking to define best practices in this area with respect to emerging digital technologies such as cloud, mobile applications, and data analytics then keep reading.

 We would like you to have:

• At least 5 years of experience in senior security compliance role focusing on ensuring compliance to industry standards
• Experience in establishing, implementing, and leading a security compliance function
• Experience in reporting to senior management and board of directors on compliance to security standards
• Experience in managing security audits, leasing with external auditors and other third parties such as customer security assurance frameworks
• Solid knowledge of how industry-standard  frameworks such as NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISO 27000, and CSA STAR Framework

We would also like you to:

• Certified as an ISO 27000 lead auditor or similar
• A deep interest in data protection and privacy in terms of technology and how society can reap the benefits of technology while still respecting people’s right to privacy
