Role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with more than 3 years of experience. You will be:
- Monitoring system performance and resolving issues to ensure optimal functionality, efficiency, and security of the IT infrastructure.
- Conducting routine maintenance tasks, including application updates or downgrades.
- Addressing and resolving Helpdesk queries to offer support to internal departments.
- Managing user access and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) according to compliance policies.
- Participating in paid on-call duties on a rotating basis, with one-week shifts every three weeks.
- Designing, documenting, and implementing security policies for system protection.
- Leveraging continuous integration tools to identify development issues proactively.
- Creating automated deployment systems through configuration management technologies.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong proven experience in the administration of Linux-based systems
- Strong experience with Docker & Kubernetes.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Proven experience working with AWS or Azure.
- Proven experience managing databases and networks
- Proven experience with continuous integration tools (like Jenkins) and monitoring tools (like Riemann, Prometheus, Grafana, or ElasticSearch)
- Critical thinking and great problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of security systems and data backup/recovery will be a plus
- Knowledge of tools like Ansible/Terraform will be a plus
