WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Cloud Backup Integration & Automation Engineer your mission will be to design & integrate backup copies for all cloud workloads and portal configurations and automate configuration including monitoring and traceability to ensure the highest levels of backup success on our cloud platform (+5000 servers and growing very fast). Your responsibilities includes resolve those related backup issues and collaborate with the rest of areas to reach the best backup protection.

We need somebody like you to help us in different fronts:

• Design backup protection for all cloud services, workloads and our portal configurations.
• Industrialize backup production with high levels of automation including backup monitoring and automation.
• Maintain our cloud Backups.
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Generate documentation for operational purposes.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• 2+ years’ experience in cloud providers engineering.
• 2+ years’ working with programing languages.
• Be used to the Agile ways of working

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Required
  • Strong knowledge of cloud provider architectures, services, and cloud monitoring tools.
  • IaC languages / processes automation (Terraform, Ansible, Python, powershell, Azure CLI, AWS CLI)
  • Knowledge data protection procedures, Snapshot, dumps, DDBB and archivelog Backups, filesystem Backups.
  • Experience working with Linux RHEL OS and Windows OS.
  • Ability to perform task under adverse conditions of both, time and overload maintaining a rhythm of efficiency and effectiveness
  • Great adaptability to changes and excellent ability to prioritize work load to meet daily and monthly deadlines
• Recommended
  • Experience in system Linux and windows administration
  • Technical knowledge of architecture background in backup tools such Avamar, NetBackup, TSM, Commvault.
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
