About BMAT

BMAT started in 2005 when a group of engineers with a passion for music decided to spin-off from an audio research lab in Barcelona. The company started with an idea – to index all the music in the world – and a mission – to better the music eco-system – and a team of nerds eager to learn how to build a successful business. Today the company has grown to more than a hundred people - spread across Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Lima, São Paulo, London, Paris, Oslo, Tel-Aviv, Johannesburg, Singapore, Tokyo and Seoul - that team up to deliver daily 1 million identifications and 3 billion matches to our partners from all over the music industry.

Our Culture

About our team

As part of our team, you will help build and improve one of the most sophisticated royalties distribution systems in the world.
We are looking for a team player to help us maintain and grow our service platforms.

All about you

• More than 3 years of experience in testing complex web-applications;
• Understanding of Agile (Scrum) methodology, experience within Scrum-teams;
• A holder of strong analytical skills, sense of responsibility, self-organization, self-improvement potential;
• Solid knowledge of technology and methods of testing;
• Experience in writing of the test documentation;
• Ability to communicate directly with the client;
• Available to work on GMT-3 - GMT-5 Time zone.
• Experience in running demos;

What you will be doing:

• Review and analyze requirements;
• Design the QA strategy according to business requirements;
• Introduce QA processes to SDLC;
• Create test cases upon requirements;
• Maintain and create other test documentation (Traceability matrix, test suites, test plans, etc.);
• Perform manual testing;
• Collaborate with the product owner and the engineering team;
• Prepare test data for UAT and guide clients through it.

Languages: 

• Upper-intermediate spoken English level (or higher).
