We are Ana Asuero (CPO) and José Antonio Such (QA Automation & Tech Lead). We work on building an awesome team that works on creating epic products with a challenging vision: transforming the insurance industry with Visual Intelligence solutions.

Bdeo was founded 4 years ago and it has been an amazing adventure since the beginning. Last year was just incredible. We reached 33 insurers, scaled our operations to 22 countries, raised a 5M-euro series A led by international VCs, and were able to grow revenue by a factor of 3 with the business of our loyal and new customers.

We couldn't be happier with the results and this year we are focused on achieving much more. We've grown the team to around 80 people, we have just opened offices in Munich and London and we've launched a new product for the property industry that we believe will become a game-changer.

I am lucky enough to say that we have built a team of dreamers and movers, committed to making the insurance and claim processes easier for users and more efficient for companies. We are doing it by building the most advanced Visual Intelligence SaaS technology.

How insurers manage a claim is one of the most sensitive touchpoints in terms of customer loyalty. We want to help companies reduce the time between the notification of a claim and its resolution. Our goal is to provide technological solutions that allow companies to automate processes, be more efficient, and improve customer expectations.

🔝 About the role

->You will have the opportunity to participate in the definition, implementation and continuous iteration of our QA automation strategy as well as in the overall QA strategy.

->You will join a bunch of inspiring and hard-working people (product, design, front and back-end experts, QA engineers) designing, developing, testing and deploying components with a focus on high availability, low latency and easy scalability.

->You will work closely with our Artificial Intelligence and Data team. So if you are interested in knowing more about how Artificial Intelligence is changing the way we work and live, you will very much enjoy the ride.

🙌 Responsibilities

• You will be part of our product team, co-leaded by our CPO and CTO.
• Your main mission will consist of designing and developing our QA process with the rest of the team (a 3 brilliant people squad).
• Testing software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency will be your obsession
• You will work really close to our development and Visual Intelligence teams being key support for the continuous improvement of the quality of our platform.
• You will participate in planning the development, testing and deployment of new features and products for our more than 30 customers in more than 20 countries
• Participating in the design and creation of a scalable SaaS platform.
• Testing bugs, coordinating hotfixes or other coding issues.
• Write robust, efficient and secure tests.

👉🏾 About you

• Required degree (it is preferred technical formation) or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Development teams applying QA procedures and methodologies (both manual and automatic ones) in agile environments
• 2+ years working with different automation frameworks such as WebdriverIO, Protractor, Cypress, Nightwatch or Playwright
• You are familiar with CI/CD processes and tools in high availability environments and demanding SLAs.
• You have experience working with NodeJS and Javascript.
• You have advanced knowledge of technical testing (performance, security, accessibility, etc)
• Experience working with tools such as Espresso, Earl Grey / XCUITest, languages such as Python or Scala (Gatling) and virtualization environments such as Docker is considered a valuable asset
• Experience developing and maintaining tools dedicated to accelerating CI/CD processes is also considered a valuable asset
• You consider yourself a tech-savvy person and a tech "hacker" (as Eric Steven Reymond defined it)
• You are interested in DevOps and infrastructure tools and procedures
• Be proactive, engage in collaborative work in a cross-functional team.
