We operate in three business areas:

• Merchant Solutions, for merchants and acquirers
• Trade Solutions, for corporates and SMEs
• Consumer Solutions, digital products and services for individuals

This role will be part of our Payments team, and we are looking for two Product Owners whose mission will be to ensure the quality of the product coded by the teams he/she manages. Understand dependencies with other brigades and be an advisor and point of contact.

You will:

• Ensure the quality of the product: Write user stories and acceptance criteria aligned to the business needs. Provide feedback based on engineer input and needs to help shape the Roadmap and strategy. And help making decisions on quality decisions that affect the delivery. Test user stories to idenfy and manage defects. Sign off those once the user story has been sucessfuly implemented.
• Squads being aligned, understanding the dependencies and assisting in the resolution of any blockers: Assist in coordinating multi-squad deliveries and help finding solutions to blockers and to escalate when appropriate.  Help with the rotation of engineers between squads. Drive the delopment in the squad.
• Embedding and sustaining a strong agile culture: Attend the agile ceremonies of the squads offering guidance and support and quickly address any issues before they become embedded or accepted.
• Listen to everyone, compile feedback and lead the squad. Mantain the roadmap status and add points to user stories.
• Evangelisation of good practices: Ensure squads follow good practices encouraging anchors and engineers to follow best practices.  Motivate the team to achieve ideas together by planning think and design sessions and help to execute them.

Requirements

• +8 years of experience in relevant fields.
• University degree in a scientific, technical or mathematical discipline and / or completed training with additional qualification, or previous relevant experience.
• Work experience with application development and/or analysis (preferably within banking sector) from an operational, functional and/or technical point of view, over a significant part of the project or the development, implementation or maintenance cycle.
• Execution of analysis, operation or maintenance tasks, preferably within the banking sector.
• Deep knowledge of Agile delivery framework
• Ability to lead a large team through servant leadership
• Work closely with the entire team and manage external stakeholders.  
• Protect the team from external issues
• Consider the reusability of the Product at all times
