Reporting directly to the Managing Director and as a vital member of the Board of Directors, the Chief Digital Officer will spearhead our client's digital initiatives. This role is pivotal in shaping their online expansion, defining their digital strategy, and revolutionizing their company culture to thrive in the digital age.

Role

    • Lead the organization through change and transformation, focusing on expanding its online presence in the Spanish market.
    • Define and develop the digital strategy of their brand, introducing innovative ways of working and reshaping company culture.
    • Balance day-to-day operations to achieve revenue and margin targets.
    • Oversee end-to-end strategy, design, and implementation of our client's digital roadmap, encompassing marketing, growth, CRM, loyalty, and logistics optimization.
    • Build up the company's digital department to face this new challenge, developing the DTC channel and marketplace partnerships.
    • Develop fact-based metrics to determine the main KPIs and ROI of digital campaigns, continuously testing and optimizing channels, audiences, and strategies.
    • Manage and update the P&L of the department and manage the department budget, optimizing and analyzing the available resources.
    • Oversee all digital plans and operations including digital processes, customer experiences, services & products.
    • Keep up with market innovation and digital players to maintain a fresh digital strategy.
    • Help design and develop, together with IT, automation solutions for manual systems and processes to improve efficiency.
    • Identify, engage, and actively collaborate with other stakeholders in the organization to develop effective strategies to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

    • Fluency in English is a must.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the digital industry, including managing positions in a B2C company's digital department.
    • Strong professional background in developing and executing digital strategies.
    • Experience in FMCG is a plus.
    • Experience managing teams is a must.
    • Collaborative, team player, flexible, and hands-on.
