Our client is looking for IT Internal Audit Specialist.  The successful candidate will form part of a team with the main responsibility of delivering the Audit Plan for our client  Group and will be based in Madrid (Spain). The role requires occasional travel (up to 10%).

This IT Internal Audit Specialist will: 

• Execute audit work in assignments to ensure the scope of work is appropriate, controls are correctly identified, assessed and carried out in accordance with the Audit Methodology, policies, professional standards and budget.
• Participate in discussions with business management regarding audit observations and issues and ensure auditee’s viewpoints are considered when making decisions.
• Contribute to clear and insightful Committee reporting, audit reporting and propose pragmatic remediation actions to audit issues raised.
• Bring to the attention of the team relevant control and risk management issues, weaknesses or irregularities in the existence of application of controls.
• Sets an example and supports fair and ethical behavior in all colleagues.
• Drive the position and brand of Internal Audit through senior level interactions and risk and control forums.

We are looking for:
 

• Minimum of 3 years in auditing technology control environments, including fintechs, data analytics and cyber security.
• CISA certification (or similar qualification) desirable.
• Experience in financial services organizations (preferably in corporate banking or asset management).
• Practical understanding of the regulatory environment.
• Fluent English and Spanish required and other languages (Italian, German, French) a plus.
