Senior iOS Developer (f/m/d)

We are looking for enthusiastic team players who do not shy away from individual responsibility, who reach brave, informed decisions, and are not scared to jump in at the deep end when required.

In 2016, myToys Techlab SL was founded in Madrid and now we want to grow and hire Senior iOS Developer (f/m/d) who is willing to join a team that is currently known as the Minions within the company.

We are a team that neither liked pure Scrum nor pure Kanban so we invented our own Scrumban! Therefore, we want someone who can provide feedback and help the team to keep improving continuously.

You will work together with iOS and Android engineers who not only develop features for the native apps but also take care of the related backend services.

Your responsibilities as a Minion will be:

• Be responsible for the continuous delivery and continuous integration of our new features
• Work on the native apps and their corresponding backend services in AWS
• Provide technical advice and guidance to the iOS development team
• Represent your team in technical meetings

Job requirements:

• Proven skills in iOS development
• You are willing to learn other technologies like Appium and Kotlin
• Having coding skills in Java and/or Kotlin and in cloud integrated development environments (AWS) is a plus
• You are familiar with Agile-Scrum methodologies
• You are fluent in English

In the first month …

You will get a deep introduction to our technical approach. You will push your first lines of some feature for our IOs app.

After 3 months …

You will be familiar with the whole architecture. You will already get some early feedback about your performance so far. Probably, you have found some issues regarding the IOs application that you are planning to change in the short term. You will have already met our Gru in person and you will discover why we are called Minions.

After 6 months …

You will be confident enough to make decisions. After the team building you will officially become a new Minion in the team. You will look back and realize that you’ve learned a lot but you still have so much more to discover. You already practiced chinese ping pong.
