We are a global early stage venture fund that invests in product-centric startups across the US, Europe, and Latam. Our approach is data-driven, which means that we leverage analytical due diligence to support our portfolio companies with data insights. One of our main products is an innovative tool called the Growth Scanner, which identifies opportunities and risks of investing in a startup based on its data.

Currently, our Growth Scanner works as a semi-automated report prepared by a Data Analyst. However, we have ambitious plans for its development. That's why we're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help us build amazing things. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and scaling our software products to new heights. You will work collaboratively with a dynamic and passionate team to create innovative solutions and contribute to the growth of our company.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will:

‍In collaboration with the product manager, you will be creating an app that aims to bring startup - investor relations to the next level. You will be the owner of all front- and back-end technical decisions related to Growth Scanner, making it user-friendly, fast, reliable, and scalable.

‍What you will be doing, in particular:

• Design and implement full stack software solutions using best practices and design patterns.
• Stay on top of the technologies, and suggest the best choices for our needs.
• Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software.
• Design client-side and server-side architecture.
• Write effective APIs.
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
• Create security and data protection settings.
• Collaborate with SE contractors who can assist you in development.

Requirements and sills:

‍First of all, we’re looking for a real teammate — we want you to communicate, share your vision, and bring your own ideas. From a technical perspective, we expect:

• Proven experience building full stack web applications (at least 5 years).
• Knowledge of web and backend development in modern JavaScript frameworks like: React.js, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Be able to deploy to production AWS or Google Cloud using CI/CD automation.
• Experience with developing and deploying applications to Serverless cloud infrastructure is preferable.
• Being familiar with data analysis using Python would be a strong plus.
• Previous experience working in a tech startup.
• English required and Spanish preferred.
