As a Backend Developer, your role will be tailored to contribute to the backend development of cloud (Azure) hosted web applications based on microservices architecture. You will have a key position in developing environmental solutions that create value to our customers. In collaboration with the rest of the team, you will refine, estimate, develop, test and document the functionalities we develop for our customers, always under an Agile methodology approach. More specifically your primary responsibilities will be to:

• Develop and contribute to all areas of our products, from design to deployment aligned with system requirements and team good practices
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Propose alternatives to the implemented solutions and be part of research activities
• Involve yourself in collaboration activities with the team such as code reviews and chapter meetings

We are looking for a committed and ambitious person who is passionate about software development and wants to be a part of an
international company striving for optimizing the world's water and energy resources. We expect you to have a university degree in
Computer Science, Engineering or similar.
In addition, it is a requirement that you have:

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and best practices (SOLID, Clean code, TDD)
• Experience with .NET Core
• Experience working with a Cloud platform as PaaS, preferably Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD setup (GitLab)

As a person, you work proactively, structured and results-oriented with your tasks. You are good at maintaining an overview, you are open to new ideas, and you also have an analytical approach to your tasks. Furthermore, it is important that you are passionate for agile software development combined with a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies. It is a requirement that you are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
