What you will do

You will primarily be working on the frontend for the delivery management system. The goal of this system is to ensure that packages are delivered on time. This system is built to handle the scale and growth of the company as we grow and expand our solution to other countries and regions in the EU.

How are the teams organized?

The engineering team does not have a complex management structure. The teams are organized by the products they are working on. Technical decisions are made as a team taking in the feedback and thought process of the developer. Team members are free to move between different teams based on the feedback of their team members and status of their project.

How will my day be?

Our team is very diverse and we work from different locations across the globe in different time zones. We follow agile practices like sprint planning, daily standup and retrospectives through slack.We perform pair programming sessions and weekly developer talks.

Development Practices?

We are strict believers in testing and building software based on solid principles. We automate everything from development, deployment, and infrastructure. We also have an open communication channel with our users to understand their needs.

What we look for

Essential:

• At least 1 year ELM experience

• At least 3 years of frontend development experience

• Experience in React with Redux

• Knowledge and experience working with Elm.

• Experience with HTML and CSS

• In-depth knowledge of DOM optimisation and profiling techniques

• Experience with unit and function testing

• Source control and build tools

• A self starter with good communication skills

Desirable:

• Knowledge and experience working with GraphQL

• Knowledge in other programming languages in particular Elixir, Ruby or Go.

• Knowledge and experience working with external APIs.

• Knowledge of Test Driven Development

• Knowledge of DDD.
