As a Product Data Analyst you will be responsible for converting advanced data sets into insights for better decision making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of Product Owners, Developers and Designers, in order to identify new product opportunities and to deliver the best possible product solutions for Wallapop from conception to production.
Also, you’ll be part of a growing Analytics team (8 people and counting) reporting to the Product Analytics Manager.
The day to day involves
- Understand business, marketing and/or product needs and leverage insights for taking decisions as a primary analyst
- Be the owner in the KPI definition and A/B testing of new product features
- Automate dashboards and reports
- Develop ad-hoc statistical analysis and data exploration
We are looking for someone with
- 2+ years of experience as data analyst, business analyst, product analyst or similar role preferably for a web/mobile company
- Strong statistical knowledge and ability to obtain insights from data: A/B testing, cohort analysis, customer LTV, ROI
- Excellent SQL skills and Business Intelligence and visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Qlikview, etc)
- Experience programming in Python. Knowledge of other programming languages (like R) is also valued
- Marketplace industry knowledge/experience will be a plus
